Dyslexia: Victim Blaming and Shaming

Of course, in our society, we often blame the victim, which of course, is wrong. The book I wrote, The Brilliant Dyslexic: Super Smart: Can't Read is about how we, as a society, need to gently support our brilliant dyslexic students, assess them early and correctly, and hold ourselves accountable for being lifelong learners in terms of gaining in knowledge about dyslexia.

The following is a simple graphic of a Peak of Crisis, where a specialist, such as myself, is called in to intervene in the life of a student who is in need of more empathy due to being in a system which is trying to force them to fit into a classroom, instead of allowing individual learning needs to flow.
